Prospective Student? Come visit!

August 7th, 2008 by RVD · 1 Comment

I know that there are a lot of prospective students who read this blog.  If you are thinking of applying to Wharton, the best way to get a feel for the program is to visit the campus, sit in on a class, and talk to some students.

However, if you are not in Northern California, then the next best thing is to stop by one of our admissions receptions. The dates for the admissions receptions for the fall have been published at http://www.wharton.upenn.edu/mbaexecutive/admissions/events/events.cfm and we hit all of the major cities in the US starting September.  We have a reception down here in Southern California pretty much every month until January 2009 and hey…you may even be able to meet me at one of these events!

I initially became interested in attending the Wharton program by attending one of these receptions.  It was a lot of fun so I highly recommend it.  For us current students, I think John usually likes it when we attend these events to show support and talk to prospective students so if you have time, go!

I think I attended 3 receptions over the course of 18 months before applying. It’s the best way to get a feel for the program, fellow classmates, and (esp. in SF) the campus.
