Class 35 Welcome!

I would just like to welcome all of the class 35 folks. You started this journey and you’re definitely in for a fun, exciting, stressful, and adventurous 2 years. Welcome to the Wharton family. My quick words of advice for your 3 classes:

1) Accounting: You have to keep up since he has so many darn midterms. Review the past midterms and his notes closely. The class is very organised so that’s good.
2) MGEC: Smetters is awesome and you’ll learn a lot. I knew nothing about Microeconomics and now I feel like I can carry a decent conversation with anyone. Study his fill in the blank notes and the past problems.
3) Management of People: Read the cases closely. Skim the articles. Start the FAP early (doesn’t matter what I say, nobody actually starts the FAP early). If you’re really bored, look up what FAP means in slang terms…

Yeah that first midterm is pretty crazy. At least I think he generally stays true to form so it shouldn’t be that much different from his past midterms. Students tend to do pretty well on that first midterm. Good luck.
