I think most of us took a short break after finals to relax a bit, watch the Olympics, and clear our minds away from MR=MC, cournot, nash equilibriums, U(w), dominant price theory, etc. I know I was happy to clear my mind away from valuation allowances, converting AFS->trading, treasury stock repurchases, etc. When the solutions for Accounting were posted lastFriday, I was curious so I’ll admit that I took a peek but I forgot what I wrote on my final anyway.
But it’s time to start reading! We have class this weekend, then labor day, and then a couple of days later we have a long session in Philadelphia. We’re going to have a blast in Philly but with so many classes and jam packed, I think it’s inevitable that I’ll find myself way way behind when I come back from Philly.
So I urge everyone…if you haven’t started already, start reading now! Stat reading starts off pretty basic but I’m sure it moves on to much more complex theories. OPIM is easy to understand but I’m sure that gets harder too. As you can see, I have only read the first couple of chapters but I hope to get more reading done this week.
Term 2 is upon us…let’s do it.
